Stephanie Elliot has written for Parenting, Pregnancy, The Philadelphia Inquirer, Parents Express and a variety of websites. She is a writer and editor for www.babyzone.com, the premiere online webzine for parents, attracting nearly five million visits each month. Stephanie's self-deprecating humor comes through in her alter ego, Manic Mom, on her personal blog, which has been an Internet pit stop for frenzied moms (and non-moms) since 2004. Born from MaNiC MoMMy, Stephanie now shares humorous parenting and pregnancy advice on her column Just Another Manic Mommy at BettyConfidential.com. Stephanie lives near Chicago with her husband and their three children. She kept journals during each of her pregnancies, which sparked the idea for her first novel, 40 Weeks, and much of her non-fiction. She’s working on her second novel, which is loosely based on a college fling, a staircase, and a couple of lemons. You can read about the novels here.
